Support LSS

Join Us in Fulfilling Our Mission and Support the LearningSpring Family

LearningSpring School is a New York State approved non public school for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. So why do we fundraise?

LSS is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and we receive funding from the New York State Department of Education. These funds do not cover 100% of the costs to educate our students, resulting in a large gap between the public funding received and the actual operating costs of the school. Some of the expenses that are not covered by funding include our social skills, technology,  arts enrichment, staff development and parent education programs.

Our fundraising efforts through annual events and campaigns help fill that gap, allowing us to provide our students with the excellent education they deserve. Funds for LearningSpring School are raised through an annual fund drive, special events and campaigns and appeals to grantmakers.

Your contribution helps maintain LearningSpring, allowing it to continue its mission of educating its very special population with its multi-disciplinary approach, all of which is carried out by its very talented and dedicated teachers, assistants and therapists. Your money may go towards capital expenses, such as staff development, our arts enrichment program, parent education programs, or needed technology.

It is only with the generosity of families and friends and people like you that LearningSpring continues to develop and support our students. So please consider the most important reason to donate: the 108 students who will be able to thrive and reach both their academic and social potentials due to your support.
